I was first introduced to HOPE through my role as the President of the Cambridge University Paediatrics Society in 2021 which works closely with HOPE. I am continually amazed at the incredible work HOPE does in taking a holistic approach to supporting children with epilepsy and their families. I am now a Foundation Year 1 Doctor at the University Hospitals of Leicester, where I am hoping to expand HOPE’s fantastic work to help families in Leicestershire. Through my time with HOPE, I have learnt so much about the specific support needed by children with epilepsy and their families. HOPE has inspired me to aim to start Paediatrics training in 2024, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Community Paediatrician.
