Hi I am Stuart father of a 12 year old girl who was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 4. Her seizures have been nocturnal for which she is on daily medication. Along with the seizures Epilepsy can bring with it many concerns and worries from adapting to everyday situations, the impact of learning with educational issues and the Mental Health aspects of Epilepsy. All of which impact the whole family. We were therefore fortunate to have come across HOPE who have and are helping us on our journey which is positive and enjoyable.

 

HOPE for us is a fantastic resource run by people who understand a whole range of challenges this condition can bring with it. Whilst every family will find its own unique way of dealing with these challenges we were and are able to use the experience of others to help us along that journey and make it a much more positive one.
